Please join the waitlist if you cannot find an appointment. Cancellations frequently occur, so you may secure a time before what is currently available in the online booking system.
Additionally, if you are a new client seeking an appointment, please email Shannon at shannon@betternowcounselling.com to request an appointment.
Appointment time is 55 minutes. Five minutes allotted for practitioner documentation.
If you feel 55 minutes is insufficient, please request an 85-minute appointment. The 85-minute appointment cannot be booked online; the practitioner will schedule it.
Payment is required before your appointment begins.
E-transfer to payments@betternowcounselling.com is the preferred payment method.
Please note that a $5.00 discount will be applied to e-transfer payments made before your session time.
Cash and debit are also accepted.
Direct billing is available with certain benefits providers; however, payment is required upfront, and any reimbursements will be paid directly to you.

Most of this first counselling visit is spent talking through what has been happening, how long it has been weighing on you, and what feels hardest right now — with the rest on clarifying patterns, goals, and boundaries so you leave knowing how the work together could be structured.
