Hot Stone Massage Therapy is a variation on the classic Swedish Massage Therapy. Heated, flat, basalt stones are placed on energy centres of the body to rebalance the body and mind while lifting and gliding techniques are used by the therapist with the hot stones in hand. The heat warms and relaxes the muscle, which allows the therapist to treat deep tissues without deep pressure.
