Birdie Counselling is a space for children, youth, young adults, and families to feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges and celebrate its successes. Our team of Registered Social Workers, Ellen & Emma, bring authenticity, creativity, and curiosity to every story we’re invited into. 💛
At Birdie, we support challenges such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation, self-esteem, identity exploration, and family or relationship challenges. We love our work with youth and deeply value working alongside caregivers and families to strengthen connection, understanding, and support. We draw from a range of evidence-based approaches including DBT, CBT, ACT, EMDR, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, somatic and attachment-based therapies and play-based approaches to tailor support in a way that feels just right for you.
