Scar tissue treatment is performed by a registered massage therapist and will include acupuncture treatment around the scar, cupping techniques, and manual therapy. This treatment can be used to support healing in the post op phase as well as address issues associated with scarring such as numbness, pain and tightness in connective tissue, and general discomfort.

Most of the hour is spent on the table in hands-on work — pressure, gliding strokes and focused work through specific muscles and connective tissue — with a brief check-in on what changed since last time and a sense of what to keep an eye on between visits.
