This is the FIRST appointment where you will meet your Therapist. They will conduct an extensive assessment of your history, function, needs and injury as well as providing you treatment. This Assessment is for patients who have had a work related injury in Alberta. You will also receive a treatment on this visit.

Most of this first physiotherapy visit is spent figuring out what’s driving the problem — history, movement, strength and hands-on testing — then some treatment if there’s time, and you leave with a clearer picture and a plan for what comes next.
