Vestibular rehabilitation is an exercise-based program, designed by a trained vestibular physiotherapist, to improve balance and reduce problems related to dizziness.
This rehabilitation treatment can treat many symptoms in addition to standard dizziness, such as:
*Blurry vision
*Neck tightness, stiffness and or pain
*Imbalance or the need to hold onto objects when walking
*Headaches
*Frequent falls
*Vertigo/spinning
Upon assessing multiple factors including a patient’s stability, mobility, gait and balance, a treatment plan is prepared to focus on any areas needing improvement.
