Your ND will create your acupuncture protocol to compliment and enhance your ongoing treatment plan with them. We are excited for you to explore this treatment modality in the context of your naturopathic care! Please note that acupuncture treatment times vary from 15-40 minutes depending on the person and the condition treated, but allow yourself a window of 45 minutes to an hour so that you may remain in an acu-zen state for a few moments before you re-enter the world post treatment.

What it is
Most of the session is the treatment itself — needles placed at selected points and left in place for a stretch, sometimes with heat or electrical stimulation — with a shorter check-in on what changed after last time and any small adjustments before you leave with the next step in the plan.
