Assessment for Acupuncture
This appointment is for an initial assessment and treatment for contemporary acupuncture with one of our chiropractors! It takes the principles of ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine and uses present-day, scientific understanding of the human body to increase the effectiveness of the treatment. The acupuncture needles are placed in condition-specific areas and most times, a small electrical device will be attached to the needles to aid in the effectiveness of the treatment. These small, painless electrical impulses help regulate the muscle innervation and in turn, increase muscle function.
Acupuncture is a very effective treatment for muscle pain and injury. Examples include but are not limited to; rotator cuff injuries, low back pain, sciatica, neck pain and headaches.
Please note, this acupuncture assessment and treatment will be billed under chiropractic.
