This visit is for new or existing patients undergoing embryo transfer or IUI within 48 hours of the transfer date. Studies have shown that acupuncture increases odds of implantation when done within 48 hours before and after these procedures.

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
