Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) Duet Class - Supervising PT: Jennifer Frey
After your assessment with your supervising physiotherapist, Jennifer Frey, these classes with PTA Dani Wasylyshen are eligible for physiotherapy coverage. Dani will lead the class in an intimate setting of only 2 participants.
This class combines Pilates and functional movement with an individualized approach for each participant. The class utilizes a variety of equipment such as: the V2 Max Pilates Reformer™, tower, weights, and bands.
Please Note: An individual assessment with Jennifer Frey, PT, is required prior to starting the session so that she can determine your unique needs. Once in the small class, your program will differ from the other students, and you will be monitored throughout the session to ensure that you maintain good form and technique. To do this, click “Back to Home Page” and select Jenn's Profile picture at the Movement Studio Booking site. Choose the treatment: "Initial Introductory Physiotherapy Pilates Session" and book a time that suits your schedule.

Most of the appointment is spent figuring out what your body can and can’t do — talking through the pattern of the problem, then checking movement, strength, balance and specific tests — with some hands-on treatment or exercise coaching and a plan to take away.
