You may seek psychotherapy if you are struggling with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, depression, emotion regulation issues, low self-esteem, difficult life choices, life style changes, stress management, interpersonal conflict, trauma, impulsive or risk-taking behaviours, school or work avoidance and performance issues, disordered eating, suicidal ideation or self-harming behaviours. When you engage in psychotherapy you will explore difficult and painful emotions and identify unhelpful or ineffective patterns of behaviour that lead to feeling stuck. Psychotherapy offers a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space to discuss the things you may not feel comfortable discussing with other people. Through a collaborative process with your therapist, you will identify negative thinking patterns and ineffective behaviours, while developing a deeper understanding of how these thoughts and beliefs about yourself have come to be. In addition, you will learn new and effective ways of coping that will help you to achieve your goals and move forward in life. At Lemon Water Wellness, psychotherapy is done with compassion using a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach targeting all the factors that contribute to mental health issues so that clients can experience long lasting progress.
