This treatment combines body acupuncture with facial Gua sha techniques.
Gua sha helps increase circulation and lymphatic flow in the face, reducing puffiness, easing jaw and facial muscle tension, and enhancing tone and brightness. Body acupuncture works synergistically by regulating the nervous system, improving microcirculation, and supporting digestion, stress response, and hormonal balance - all factors that can influence the skin.
After the facial portion, you will continue to rest and integrate the results of the acupuncture under either blue or red LED light therapy. This session also includes facial cleansing, high quality facial oils and hot towel application.
Most of the appointment is spent mapping out whatâs going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch â sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation â and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
