FI™ movement patterning supports healthy development in children and babies. Movement is how our brain maps the world around us, and when a child is missing certain movement patterns, it can affect not only physical coordination, but how they perceive and relate to the world around them. In FI, gentle hands-on prompts lead the child towards fulfilling missing sensory-motor patterns of action which serve as important building blocks in their ongoing growth. Depending on the child’s needs, resulting impacts can range from better physical coordination, range of motion, and reduced tension, to a more balanced nervous system baseline, behavioural improvements, and more.
