Once the custom orthotics are manufactured and ready to be dispensed, our experienced physiotherapists will work with the client to ensure that they are comfortable and properly fitted. Here are the key elements of our orthotics dispense process:
The orthotics dispense process begins with an appointment with our physiotherapist, who will ensure that the custom orthotics are the right size and shape for the client's foot and lower limb.
The physiotherapist will also provide guidance on how to properly wear and care for the custom orthotics, ensuring that the client understands the benefits of using them.
The client will be asked to walk around in the orthotics to ensure that they are comfortable and provide the necessary support. The physiotherapist will make any necessary adjustments to ensure the orthotics are providing the right level of support and comfort.
If necessary, the physiotherapist may also provide guidance on breaking in the orthotics and wearing them for different activities, such as walking or running.
Follow-up appointments may be scheduled to assess the effectiveness of the custom orthotics and make any necessary adjustments.

Most of the appointment is spent examining how your feet are built and moving — skin, nails, joints, pressure points, gait and footwear — then dealing with the immediate issue through nail or skin care, padding, strapping or offloading, and sending you out with clear next steps.
