Acupuncture Intake
Includes a detailed initial intake based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles (20 minutes), as well as an Acupuncture treatment, possibly combined with other added TCM modalities such as Gua Sha Massage techniques, Cupping, Ear Seeds, etc. for 1 hour. During this treatment, a patient’s signs, symptoms, and concerns would be noted and a Chinese Medicine Diagnosis will be formulated according to the studies of TCM. Acupuncture will then be used to address the patient’s concerns and balance the energy within the body by puncturing various anatomical points to activate specific channels and meridians. Acupuncture is a holistic method of treatment that involves the use of small, sterile, non-reusable needles to treat a wide variety of conditions and support mental, emotional, and physical health.
