Vestibular dysfunction can cause vertigo, dizziness, disequilibrium and other symptoms that can seriously affect one’s ability to function. Several of our Physiotherapists are trained in Vestibular and Dizziness Rehabilitation. This treatment may include positional maneuvers such as the Epleys maneuver, balance and visual exercises, cervical spine manual therapy, acupuncture etc. This treatment is very successful, and can relieve vertigo and/or dizziness in 1-2 sessions.
Post concussion rehab is a multi-faceted approach, where our Therapists will work with you and your team (ex. Doctor, Coach, Massage Therapist, etc.) to optimize your recovery. Treatment will consist of a detailed assessment, specific return to sport/work plan, Physiotherapy techniques, a supervised exercise program, balance and visual exercises etc.
