AHS Total or Partial KNEE Replacement TREATMENT

After your AHS initial assessment, a set number of treatment visits will be covered by AHS for those who meet the service eligibility criteria. Exercise and specialty equipment / supplies are not funded through this program. This Alberta Health Services funded program is available to children or adults who have had a total or partial knee replacement within the last 12 weeks. Program coordinators may approve funding for care that is initiated later than 12 weeks, but must be pre-approved by our billing administrator. En quoi ça consiste

Most of this visit is spent checking what changed since last time and doing the treatment itself — guided exercises, movement retraining, hands-on techniques or taping — then adjusting your home program so you leave knowing what to keep doing until the next session.
