Your initial acupuncture session involves both assessment and treatment. Your practitioner will sit down with you and go over your health history as well as what is bringing you in to see us. We will ask a lot of questions (that may seem a little unrelated) to help us get a full picture of your health and your patterns. Then, we will ask you to lie down on the treatment table and feel your pulse on each wrist, look at your tongue and likely press a few acupuncture points to see how your energy is moving.
NOTE: These treatments are billed under Naturopathy benefits unless they are with Dr. Erica Nikiforuk
