Therapeutic Exercise Session (JT)
Therapeutic exercise sessions are completed as part of your physiotherapy program with direct guidance from a physiotherapy assistant. After your initial assessment your physiotherapist will discuss whether you are a good candidate for this style of care. During a therapeutic exercise session, the physiotherapy assistant will guide you through a series of exercises tailored to your specific needs and goals, providing modifications as needed. With close monitoring of your form and technique, you can safely and effectively regain mobility and strength. Reassessment with your physiotherapist will happen at regular intervals to ensure you are progressing appropriately.

Most of the appointment is spent watching how you move and load your body — gait, squat, balance, mobility and strength work — with coaching and exercise adjustments in real time, and you leave with a clearer picture of your movement patterns and a plan to practise.
