Please choose this appointment for the traditional, complete upper back and shoulder treatment used for headaches, migraines, shoulder pain and tension, focus and immune support) or for larger treatment areas (i.e. both legs or arms).
Gua sha is a technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine similar to cupping, but using a dull-edged tool to scrape the skin surface resulting in red dots (called petechiae or "sha" in Chinese).

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
