Running analysis appointments are typically scheduled for 60min. We start with a review of your running goals, any issues or symptoms you are experiencing, your past injury history, and your openness to changes in your running form. We will get you on the treadmill and will video your running to allow you to see what we are seeing, and then if there is rationale for any suggested changes, we will change certain parameters and re-video you and see how you feel. Sometimes this session also incorporates other aspects if relevant and as time permits which could include an orthopedic screening exam, therapeutic exercise recommendations to address anything we might have found, and discussion on training and recovery factors.

What it is
Most of the appointment is spent figuring out what your body can and can’t do — talking through the pattern of the problem, then checking movement, strength, balance and specific tests — with some hands-on treatment or exercise coaching and a plan to take away.
