This session starts with a 30-minute intake specifically focused on Chinese Medicine diagnosis, assessment, followed by a 45-60 minute treatment. A treatment plan may or may not be given following this appointment, according to your practitioner's clinical judgment.

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
