An initial assessment is required for any individual who has not received Shockwave Therapy at Sore Spots previously. An initial assessment is also required if you are seeking therapy for another part of your body that was not previously assessed.
During the initial assessment, your therapist will go through a series of assessments, palpations, questions, and functional movement tests to determine if shockwave therapy is appropriate for your condition.
If Shockwave is deemed appropriate, your therapist will continue with the first session of your determined treatment protocol.
If Shockwave is not deemed appropriate for your condition, your therapist will discontinue the session and provide an alternative recommendation for treatment. Should this occur, you will only be charged for the consultation portion of the initial appointment.
