Patients that have a distressing condition should consider scheduling follow-up appointments right away (typically 1 hour, once a week, X3 weeks, with a follow-up one month later).

Most of this first osteopathy visit is spent figuring out what’s really going on — talking through how the problem behaves, then checking how you move, bend and tolerate pressure — followed by hands-on treatment and a clear sense of the next steps you leave with.
