Follow-up treatments consist of a short assessment followed by an acupuncture treatment. Treatment options other than needles are available for children afraid of them (acupressure, press seeds, press tacks).
The number of necessary visits depends on the health issue treated, its chronicity, the general health status and the body’s reaction to the treatment plan.

Most of the session is the treatment itself — needles placed at selected points and left in place for a stretch, sometimes with heat or electrical stimulation — with a shorter check-in on what changed after last time and any small adjustments before you leave with the next step in the plan.
