*It is VERY IMPORTANT that at the time you book an assessment, you also book at least 2 follow-up appointments 1 to 2 weeks apart, if possible, as our therapists are booking up fully several weeks in advance. This will help ensure you receive timely follow-up and can get an appointment at a time that is convenient for you.* Your initial Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Assessment will consist of a comprehensive medical history and physical exam. This will often include an examination of the low back, pelvis and hips, as well as an internal pelvic exam in order to diagnose and plan the best treatment. You may also be given some exercises to work on at home. It is VERY IMPORTANT that at the time you book an assessment, you also book a follow-up appointment for 1 to 2 weeks later, if possible. Your therapist will discuss treatment frequency during the assessment. If you cannot find a spot in this time period, please call and we will try to find a time for you. You may also opt to put your name on our online waitlist.
