Cosmetic Acupuncture is a natural alternative to Botox injections and other medical cosmetic treatments. In cosmetic Acupuncture, we focus on the health of the skin through a holistic lens that addresses the whole body as well as local symptoms and manifestations.
In these sessions, fine needles are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin, which stimulates collagen and elastin production, to rejuvenate the skin, promote circulation and enhance cellular rejuvenation. Muscle tension is reduced through motor point needling, facial massage, gua sha and cupping, which allows the surrounding skin to relax, reducing the appearance and preventing the creation of fine lines and wrinkles.
Contributing factors to skin symptoms such as acne, rosacea, puffiness, uneven complexion and early aging skin, such as stress, emotional overwhelm, inflammation and deficiency symptoms are addressed as the foundation of health in this system of therapy

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
