Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses a gentle skin-stretching technique and rhythmic strokes to encourage lymphatic fluid movement for purposes of reducing pain symptoms, reducing tension throughout the body, and facilitating removal of excess fluid & cellular waste.
This treatment is very beneficial for patients who have had a recent injury or surgery, seeking pain relief and reduction in swelling.
In addition to acute conditions, MLD may be utilized to relieve chronic issues, or simply for maintenance.
