Laser Therapy, also known as Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), Photobiomodulation, Cold Laser, etc. is a light-based technology proven to be highly effective in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems, and wound healing. The cold laser is the application of red and near infra-red light over injuries or lesions to improve wound and soft tissue healing, reduce inflammation and give relief for both acute and chronic pain. LLLT is used to: increase the speed, quality and tensile strength of tissue repair; resolve inflammation and relieve pain (analgesia). The technology is non-invasive, non-toxic, and is currently utilized in many countries world-wide.
