During this one-hour virtual appointment your physiotherapist will take a comprehensive medical history and conduct a detailed physical assessment. If you are consulting our clinic for pelvic physiotherapy or Diastasis Recti, an internal pelvic examination will be conducted at the next appointment (in-clinic) to determine the current state of the pelvic floor muscles, pelvic girdle joints and pinpoint the cause of your symptoms.
Based on the results of your assessment, your therapist will create a personalized treatment plan including a home exercise program.
