“5 Stars - A Life-Changing Practitioner! I cannot say enough about Maggie Ho, the incredible acupuncturist at Kerrisdale Chiropractic, Massage & Acupuncture. She is truly one of a kind—Maggie is the only person in the world who has helped me overcome a lifelong phobia of needles and gently introduced acupuncture into my wellness journey. Her healing abilities go far beyond acupuncture; she’s gifted in skincare, anti-aging, injury recovery, and chronic pain relief. Maggie doesn’t just treat the physical body—she supports you emotionally and mentally during every session. She genuinely cares about her patients and consistently goes above and beyond. She checks in the same day after treatment, follows up after a few days, and even personally reaches out if I haven’t been in for a while—just to see if my body might need a tune-up. With my ever-changing and hectic work schedule, I struggle to pre-book, but Maggie is always so accommodating and somehow finds time to fit me in (though I highly recommend booking ahead—she’s in demand for a reason!). “I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my back and hips! Dr. Arthur is extremely knowledgeable (involved with VGH and UBC research), has TONES of experience and is very friendly and personable ! ☺️ He has helped me through a desk job, 3 pregnancies etc. I really appreciate that Dr. Aurther is honest about the recovery and process and when I’m feeling good& pain free he wishes you well, gives you some maintenance stretches and exercises and just says to give him a call when I need him next... he’s not the type that tries to get you in every week forever ! “When I advised my GP I would be availing myself of chiropractic treatments, he looked at me as if I’d said I was going to consult a magical tooth fairy; it wasn’t recommended. From past experience, I knew better. Upon arrival at Kerrisdale Chiropractic & Massage you have the opportunity to shed your coat in the waiting area on a vertical bar with spiral “hooks.” Magazines for browsing are neatly stored in a rack at the reception desk where you’ll be greeted by courteous and attentive staff. The area is designed for comfort with water available, books and wipe down toys for small children. There are even some humorous chiropractic specific cartoons pinned on the notice board. Treatment rooms are professional looking, scrupulously clean and watching aquarium fish swimming across a computer screen, my sense of relaxation deepens, even with pain that reminds me I'm too old to die young. Dr. Arthur enters the treatment room and proceeds to listen, ask qualifying questions and uses positive phraseology. And still there's not a wand to be seen. I leave after each treatment better than before. After a course of treatments over the past month my goal of returning to physical well-being is in sight and I’m fully committed to an ongoing preventative maintenance program. Perhaps there's magic in that… though I confess to feeling just a tiny bit robbed by the continuing absence of a shiny coin being left under the “pillow” of the treatment table.”Lire la suiteRéduire
