Allison is a recent graduate from Simon Fraser University (SFU), earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Kinesiology and a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. She graduated first class with distinction and utilizes her strong academic background to provide evidence-based, and up-to-date research that best serves clients. She continues to further her education as a teaching assistant at SFU, expanding her knowledge which she applies to her practice, and uses her teaching background to create individualized and approachable sessions.
Allison is determined to pass on her knowledge, having been inspired to pursue kinesiology from growing up as a dancer. She learned the importance of movement fundamentals to help restore her own abilities and confidence, and desires to share what she has learned to educate patients with the tools and exercises needed for injury prevention, recovery, and improving athletic performance. Allison strives to enhance client’s overall quality of life and promote that exercise is for everyone.

Assisted stretching uses a well-researched technique called Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) to help reduce muscle tension, improve range of motion, and support better movement patterns. This method combines guided stretching with controlled muscle contractions to engage the nervous system, allowing muscles to relax fully and stretch more effectively.
