Hello! I am Alyssa Baser, a passionate Acupuncturist, and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) dedicated to holistic healing. With a profound interest in women's hormonal health, mental-emotional well-being, and the intricate connection between
mind and body, I bring a unique blend of expertise and compassion to my practice.
My journey into the world of acupuncture and TCM was deeply influenced by my own health challenges, particularly my struggle with eczema throughout my upbringing. This personal experience has driven me to explore and integrate traditional Chinese medicine
practices, shaping my commitment to a holistic approach to wellness.
In addition to my clinical practice, I have had the privilege of volunteering in Nepal in 2015, where I contributed my skills and knowledge to underserved communities. This enriching experience allowed me to witness the transformative power of acupuncture
combined with Western & herbal medicine in a cultural context, further deepening my
appreciation for the interconnectedness of health, well-being, and lifestyle.
My expertise extends to addressing a variety of health issues, including anxiety, headaches, migraines, the aftermath of motor vehicle accidents, as well as concerns related to digestive and liver health and allergies.
Having navigated the complexities of health personally, I advocate for a patient-centered
approach, emphasizing sustainable changes and the cultivation of healthy habits. My own journey toward optimal health involved not only professional interventions but also life changes that were unrelated to health, underscoring the profound connection between mind, body, and lifestyle.
As a practitioner, I am committed to guiding my clients on their unique healing journeys, offering support, expertise, and a holistic perspective. Together, we can work towards achieving balance and harmony in both physical and mental well-being.

Fire Cupping is a traditional Chinese Medicine technique where a flame is placed within a cup to create a vacuum. Cups are placed on the body, pulling tissue into the cup, breaking small blood vessels to create the circular marks popularized by many athletes on media these days. Cups can be used to relieve muscle tension and pain by breaking up congestion and drawing out toxins from the body. Further, cups can be used to help combat the common flu or illness’ where fluid is trapped within the lungs. Cups are great for headaches, neck tension, back pain and a great many other ailments! This is a great opportunity for those wary of needles to learn about Chinese Medicine and it’s other offerings! This treatment is covered by acupuncture benefits

This Treatment is an application of traditional Chinese Medicine without the use of needles. This treatment can be used to release fascia and muscles to reduce pain. Gua Sha and Cupping are great to reduce tension, stiffness, knot and immobility. Treatment will enhance circulation of blood and lymph fluid to clear out metabolic toxic waste trapped in tight tissue. Even further, treatments promote relaxation of body and mind! Gua Sha “scraping away of illness” involves using a jade stone with lubricant to rub parts of body to activate blood circulation, release trigger points and knots, dissipate blood stasis and clear metabolic waste in blood and tissue. Blood is forced out of tiny capillaries in skin and muscle tissue allowing for the flow of new blood. Gua Sha can be used on the neck, back, arms, face, neck, chest….anywhere! This treatment is good for all ages and skin types and serves as an excellent introduction for those wary of needles. This treatment is covered by acupuncture benefits

Using the lightest of touch, Craniosacral Therapy provides incredible relief from chronic pain, dysfunction, and stress by aiding the body's natural healing ability. Small manipulations of the skull and sacrum circulate cerebrospinal fluid. Many clients find this therapy extremely relaxing both during and after treatment.

For details paste this link into your browser: https://www.goodmedicineyeg.com/vibration-sound-therapy Join Jag for a Vibrating bowl sound garden. This unique treatment involves the practitioner placing Vibrating sound bowls onto the body of the client with a combination of acupuncture needles to induce a state of relaxation The combination of the sound and vibration hold the focus of the client, allowing one to break from normal cycles of thought to enter a deep restful relaxed state. Vibration therapy synchronizes the brain wave frequencies with the singing bowls, triggering the thalamus to induce changes in brainwaves and allows one to enter the slower Alpha and Theta wave ranges, guiding the focus of the patient inward spiritually and physically. Practicing relaxation reduces the harmful effects of prolonged exposure to stress such as: -slow heart & breathing rate -lower blood pressure -improve digestion -reduce stress hormones -increases blood flow to major muscles -reduce chronic pain -improve concentration and mood -improve sleep -reduce anger and frustration -maintain normal blood sugar levels This enjoyable treatment is covered by acupuncture benefits. This treatment involves the combination of specific acupuncture points chosen by the practitioner to harmonize the spirit and thus cannot be combined with an acupuncture treatment with an alternative focus i.e. muscle pain. Although a benefit of the treatment is reduced chronic pain by increasing blood flow to major muscles using vibration therapy via the bowls, it is suggested to book an acupuncture only appointment if your focus is on a specific painful ailment.
