Amanda is an experienced physiotherapist with more than 16 years of clinical expertise in orthopaedic manual therapy. A graduate of the University of Alberta, she is known for her skilled hands-on approach, individualized treatment plans, and strong commitment to patient education and exercise-based rehabilitation.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Amanda has completed extensive post-graduate training and advanced certifications, including:
• Certified Complete Concussion Management Practitioner
• GLA:D Canada Certified Trainer (Good Living with Osteoarthritis from Denmark)
• Orthopaedic Advanced Level 3 Manual Therapist
• Certified in GUNN IMS for chronic muscle and neuropathic pain
• Specialized training in running-related injury prevention and rehabilitation

Amanda has a particular interest in working with individuals with osteoarthritis and supporting the health and mobility of older adults. Since 2023, she has volunteered annually with Operation Esperanza in Ecuador, providing post-surgical rehabilitation to patients recovering from hip and knee replacement surgeries. This work has further strengthened her passion for proactive, preventative, and patient-centered care for joint-related conditions.
For over 16 years, Amanda has been active in the St. Albert community through her work with local triathlons, gymnastics events, and rugby and hockey teams. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. A former competitive dancer and figure skater, Amanda continues to stay connected to the arts—both as a recreational dancer herself and as a proud dance parent. She also enjoys practicing piano and maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym.
Originally from Saskatchewan, Amanda grew up training and competing nationally in dance and figure skating, later working as a dance instructor throughout university. Her background in artistic athletics continues to inform her physiotherapy practice, particularly when working with performing artists and artistic athletes.
