As a member of the Queer Physiotherapy Collective (QPC), xe is committed to fostering inclusive care environments and hopes to enhance access to pelvic floor and orthopedic physiotherapy for all individuals. In her current practice, xe has a special interest in providing pre- and post-operative care for patients accessing gender-affirming surgeries, in addition to creating [more welcoming movement spaces for members of the 2S/LGBTQIA+ community](https://www.synergyphysiopilates.ca/transandgenderdiversecare). Amy also holds a position on the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Association's Board of Directors and organizes the physiotherapy program at the Halifax Sexual Health Centre.
