Developed by Dr. John Upledger and taught through the Upledger Institute, the 10-Step Protocol is a foundational approach used in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) to assess and gently release restrictions in the craniosacral system—the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. This light-touch therapy (typically no more than 5 grams of pressure) helps facilitate the body’s natural healing processes. The 10-step sequence includes work along the spine, sacrum, diaphragm, thoracic inlet, and cranial bones to restore balance, improve fluid movement, and ease fascial restrictions throughout the body. The protocol is designed to: Calm the nervous system Reduce pain and tension Support the immune system Improve sleep and digestion Address symptoms related to stress, headaches and TMJ dysfunction It is deeply relaxing, often inducing a meditative or dreamlike state, and is suitable for people of all ages.

Hot stone reflexology is a therapeutic technique that combines the use of hot stones and reflexology principles to help promote relaxation, balance, and well-being. During a hot stone reflexology session, smooth, heated stones are placed on specific points on the feet, hands, and lower legs, while pressure is applied to corresponding reflex points. The heat from the stones helps to soothe and relax the muscles, while the pressure on reflex points can help to stimulate the nervous system and improve circulation. This treatment is believed to be effective in reducing stress, easing pain, and promoting overall health and wellness.
