AjouterCara-lee grew up in rural Manitoba, currently living with her fiancé and pup, Milwaukee in Selkirk. She graduated from University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2019 and completed her Master's in Occupational Therapy in 2023. She's currently working with public health, supporting children, youth and families in rural communities. She's passionate about brain-based differences and is eager to help individuals reach their fullest potential. She strives to incorporate a neurodiversity-affirming lens into practice and meets children and families where they're at. Cara-lee delights in spending time with loved ones, instructing yoga, being outdoors and exploring new places.

This small group class for ages 12+ is designed for neurodiverse children who benefit from structured, movement-based learning in a supportive and inclusive environment. Ideal for children who can follow two-step directions, are not a flight risk, and are safe to participate in a group setting, this class focuses on developing core strength, body awareness, balance, and coordination through fun and purposeful physical activities. With experienced facilitators, we provide a consistent routine and individualized support, creating a space where children can move, connect, and grow—building not only physical skills but also confidence and a sense of belonging. This 1 hour class runs for 6 weeks on Saturdays from 1:15pm-2:15pm. February 7th, February 14th, February 21st, February 28th, March 7th, March 14th. **Please register under your child's name- you only need to register for the first class on February 7th and your child is registered for the duration of the program.** *Note this class is not eligible for reimbursement by extended health benefits plans at this time* Please contact carrie@childrenstherapycollective.com if you have any questions!
