This is for first time clients looking for Perineural or Trigger Point Injection Therapy. There will be an assessment and then treatment. If you have seen Physiotherapy with the last 6month you dont need to book an assessment. Perineural injection therapy refers to the practice of injecting solutions (most commonly 5% dextrose) around peripheral nerves to treat neuropathic pain and a variety of other pain conditions. Trigger point injections are a minimally invasive procedure in which a needle is inserted into a myofascial trigger point (a hyper-irritable, palpable nodule within a taut band of skeletal muscle) to relieve pain. The injections usually contain dextrose and an anaesthetic solution.
