Sports Massage Therapy Recovery Sessions are designed as a recovery from sports related movements. This treatment focuses primarily on: Training Recovery/Healing: Modalities such as Laser, Cryotherapy, and Normatec Recovery, accelerates the healing process by increasing blood flow to injured areas and reducing muscle stiffness. Pain Relief/ Injury Recovery: Electrotherapy and Passive Stretching, Eases discomfort from muscle soreness, tightness, and chronic conditions like tendonitis or ligament sprains.
Personal & Athletic History: We’ll start by discussing your medical background, including any previous injuries, surgeries, or chronic issues. We’ll also ask about your current activity levels and athletic goals. Injury/Discomfort Assessment: You’ll have the opportunity to explain any specific pain, discomfort, or injuries you're dealing with. We’ll assess the affected areas to determine the best course of action for treatment. Range of Motion & Functional Movement Evaluation: A thorough range of motion assessment will help us understand how your muscles and joints are functioning. This helps us target areas that may benefit from specific massage techniques. Treatment Plan & Goals: Based on the assessment, we’ll create a customized sports massage therapy plan tailored to your needs, whether that’s injury recovery, muscle relaxation, or improving flexibility and performance. 1st Treatment Included in Visit
