An acupuncture first visit is 90 minutes in duration and involves an in-depth consultation about the overall picture of your health, as well as expectations, goals, and treatment plan. Consultation is followed by acupuncture treatment with the possible addition of cupping, gua sha, tui na massage, or moxibustion as appropriate for your condition. Lifestyle and dietary advice are offered as well.

There are a limited number of treatments offered each month on a sliding scale of $50-$80. This is the treatment to book if you are a new patient experiencing financial barriers to accessing acupuncture. Initial Consultation and Acupuncture Treatment

This treatment is for clients with an open ICBC case who have already had an initial assessment visit. Included is a brief discussion of progress made since the last visit and re-evaluation of symptoms and limitations owing to injury. Acupuncture, cupping, tui na massage, gua sha, and moxibustion are used as appropriate.

If you are an ICBC customer and have been involved in a motor vehicle accident you are able to access up to 12 pre-authorized acupuncture sessions within 12 weeks of the date of your accident. Please choose this option to have your treatment billed directly to ICBC. This initial assessment includes a review of your medical history and mechanism of injury, orthopaedic and range of motion testing, and a discussion of recovery goals and treatment plan. Acupuncture, cupping, tui na massage, gua sha, and moxibustion are utilized as appropriate.
