AjouterDennis Barrie is the owner of Edmonton Addiction Family Counselling Services Inc. He has been working with adolescents and their families for close to 25 years. After a decade in the Army, Dennis worked in theraputic recreation programs before completing his master in Counselling Psychology. His focus for the past 8 years has been supporting families impacted by adolescent addiction. A specific strength knowledge Dennis has achieved was learned from his own experience with toxic masculinity. Dennis uses his own growth experience to compassionatly support men and boys become more emotionally aware and balanced.

A session dedicated to supporting adult parents or guardians. Couples counselling can be conducted in the service of the broader family counselling process. Co-parenting facilitation can also be provided as well as psychoeducation.

Full Family Counselling In person. The family members chosen to attend can be explored in the screening session. Family Counselling is complex and may require 1.5 hours to allow the process to develop.

A parent or guardan can choose to engage in a free 30 minute consultation session. The purpose is to determine the level of need and the availbility, or goodness of fit, of resources to meet this need. Contact the provider if you prefer a telephone call or in person meeting.
