Living with recurring nightmares or sleep disturbances connected to traumatic experiences from your past?
By combining various therapies such as EMDR, CBT and Mindfulness,
I help my clients:
Identify negative thinking patterns; areas of emotional dysregulation and physiological discomforts related to their triggers; stress inducing experiences, and trauma.
Develop skills to navigate through these impactful areas of their experience, and,
Move through their past and present traumatic experiences with the hopes of receiving
healing, recovery and hope to move on in their everyday life.
Experience
I have extensive experience, both as a counsellor and as a pastor, walking alongside others
helping to guide them through their various life experiences and challenges.
Life can be difficult at times and having someone with the education, skill and life experience to
walk alongside you through those difficult times can help you discover the reassurance that you
are more resilient than you realized and that there is a way through.
I work with clients who are living with and experiencing various emotional, mental, spiritual, and
relational struggles such as anxiety/depression, loss/grief, burnout/stress, loss of purpose and
meaning, relational concerns, and trauma of various kinds.
Credentials
I have my Master of Counselling degree (MC) and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in
good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
I am trained in Level I & II EMDR therapy – an effective and researched based approach to
working with clients who have experienced various traumatic events.
