Dr. Bailey Jakobs, ND will be on maternity leave starting May 1, 2026 as she prepares to welcome a new addition to her family. During her time away, Dr. Grace Ni, ND will be providing continue care in her absence. Dr. Jakobs will return to practice November 2026.

Dr. Bailey Jakobs (Sallis) is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Hons) and a research certificate from the University of Alberta. During her undergraduate studies, she was a core member of the UofA track and field team where she competed as a middle-distance track athlete. She went on to pursue her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine – Boucher, where she was awarded the Governor of Excellence award. Dr. Jakobs (Sallis) is also a published author in the European Journal of Applied Physiology. She is committed to continuing her education in order to stay current with the latest research and techniques in her field.
Dr. Jakobs' (Sallis') athletic background lends to her expertise and passion for musculoskeletal injury management, chronic pain, and physical performance. She also understands how a variety of other health concerns can be a further barrier to optimal functioning. This may include digestive disturbances, menstrual irregularities, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue/burnout, and acne. She works with individuals of all activity levels, and those who are driven to overcome their health concerns that are holding them back from living the life they want. Despite her focus on musculoskeletal injuries, Dr. Jakobs (Sallis) holds a general practice and is able to address a wide range of health concerns.
Dr. Jakobs (Sallis) strives to combine clinical judgment, patient values and the best available evidence to provide patients with an individualized treatment approach. She takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs, concerns, and goals and is committed to educating her patients about their health and providing them with actionable and pragmatic tools that allow them to take an active role in their health.
In her personal time Dr. Jakobs (Sallis) can usually be found outdoors running, cycling, swimming, hiking, back country camping or snowboarding. When she’s not being active, she loves to enjoy good food with friends and family!

Book this appointment for a free 15-minute TeleHealth consultation with a Vision Therapist to discuss Vision Therapy. Please note: This is not a therapy session. This consultation is intended to provide an overview of Vision Therapy and determine whether the vision rehabilitation and therapy approach is an appropriate fit for your needs. Topics typically discussed include relevant case and medical history, an overview of Vision Therapy and how the process works, clinic policies and program structure, and fees and next steps. You are also welcome to ask any questions or raise any concerns you may have about Vision Therapy during this time.

We recommend you confirm coverage with your ICBC Claim Specialist (CS) prior to booking this appointment. This is a one-on-one private vision therapy evaluation if you are experiencing visual symptoms (including: eyestrain, double vision, headaches, intermittent blurry vision). At your initial appointment the Vision Therapist will conduct conduct a comprehensive oculomotor function assessment. Following the assessment, the Vision Therapist will complete a report indicating deficiencies and the recommended treatment plan. Please Note: A Vision Therapy Intake Form must be completed prior to the Initial Session. Records of your last eye exam by an eye care provider must be available. Currently only offered at our New Westminster location
