Dr. Cuizhen Jane Wang, is a licensed naturopathic doctor committed to providing holistic individualized care. Her focus is to empower patients, enabling them to make informed choices about their health and to coach them to make health a priority. Dr. Wang believes that preventive medicine is the best form of health care, and she uses every patient encounter as an opportunity to educate patients on strategies to prevent events from happening in the first place.
Dr. Wang obtained her Doctor of Naturopathy Degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), Toronto. Prior to attending CCNM, Dr. Wang was trained as a medical doctor in China and practiced as a general internist for 5 years and an endocrinologist for 6 years. She holds an active endocrinologist license in China. She also received Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture training in China.
Since moving to Canada, she has worked as a clinical research professional at Sunnybrook Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital, focusing on brain injury and cancer treatment. With an extensive background in conventional medicine, her passion is to integrate conventional and natural medicine to offer patients the most natural, scientific, and evidence-based treatment protocols.
Dr. Wang uses a wide array of modalities, including Acupuncture, Hydrotherapy, and Nutritional Supplements, to treat her patients, along with a strong emphasis on lifestyle changes and nutrition.
