Jeff is a firm believer in the many benefits of regular physical activity and has spent the better part of his adult life advancing his education in the fields of kinesiology (exercise science) and health promotion. He completed his undergraduate training from Dalhousie (BSc Kinesiology, BSc Health Promotion), and graduate degrees from the University of Calgary (MSc Kinesiology) and Dalhousie University (PhD Health). By day he is a Kinesiology Instructor within the School of Health and Human Performance, Faculty of Health at Dalhousie University, and by night, a three-time girl dad who still finds time to sneak in after hour workouts.
Jeff has been offering endurance sport coaching and fitness testing in Halifax since 2013 under the business name Kinesic Sport Lab, and has partnered with Cornerstone Naturopathic to provide VO2max metabolic testing in-house. He holds the Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) designation from the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP), and he is a Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) recognized by the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) with professional coaching certifications in triathlon, cycling, cross-country skiing and weightlifting.

No experience needed! This class is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to revisit the basics. The pace is slow to medium, with a strong focus on stabilization techniques and body awareness.
This class is designed for those who have taken Level 1 Pilates with us or have prior experience with in-person Pilates training. You should already be familiar with foundational core stabilization techniques. As well as hip, knee, and ankle alignment, proper breathing patterns and cueing. In Level 2, we take things up a notch. Expect a faster pace, more complex variations, and a fun, challenging workout that deepens your Pilates practice.

This class focuses on building strength, stability, mobility, alignment, and body awareness. Suitable for a range of experience levels, exercise progressions and modifications are provided to meet individual needs.
