Jhoana believes in the healing power of nature and the innate ability of our body to heal itself. She uses a variety of natural therapies including Acupuncture,Traditional Chinese Medicine, Botanical medicine, Lifestyle counselling and modification, Clinical nutrition, Hydrotherapy,Homeopathy and various supplements in treating her patients. She also obtained a certification in Facial rejuvenation acupuncture.

Follow up visits will recap the initial assessment and discuss the prepared treatment plan. Any imaging or lab results and new concerns will be discussed. On-going care will be continued with new recommendations moving forward.
Sensation is similar to deep tissue massage which uses gentle suction to lift the skin and underlying tissues and muscles to relieve pain, muscle tightness and support detoxification.

During the initial visit, a comprehensive assessment will take an hour or more, which includes completing an intake questionnaire about the patient's personal information, chief complaint, allergies,past and present medical histories and family history of illness. Mental, emotional and spiritual aspects may be asked which could help to address the underlying cause of illness. A thorough Physical exam may be performed during the initial visit or follow up focusing on the patient's complaint. Review of current medications, recent lab results and diagnostic/imaging may be tackled. By the end of the visit, an overview of short and long term treatment plans will be discussed including the modalities which are safe ,effective and specific to support the health needs of a patient.
