Dr. Maria Cichalewski's commitment to improving her patients' health and quality of life is rooted in her personal experiences. Having navigated the healthcare system with loved ones, she was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare. She understands the influence compassionate and knowledgeable doctors have on patients' well-being and is dedicated to providing excellent care. She is skilled at creating personalized treatment plans for each patient, acknowledging and honouring their unique health journeys.
Dr. Cichalewski offers various treatments including spinal manipulative therapy, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, dry needling, and rehabilitative exercise. She is passionate about empowering patients to actively participate in their care and implement changes that lead to lasting results.
She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in recognition of her academic achievements. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours Specialization in Kinesiology at The University of Western Ontario.
Maria is interested in chronic pain and nutrition and hopes to pursue further specialization through ongoing education. Outside the clinic, she enjoys practicing yoga, taking walks, and discovering new restaurants and coffee shops

This flow is designed to strengthen the core, challenge balance, and increase heart rate. If you are looking to build strength, prevent injury or further your practice, this class is for you. Our Mommy & Baby Physio Group Class is a supportive postpartum program led by a registered physiotherapist in Barrie. Designed for new moms, this class focuses on safe recovery after childbirth, including pelvic floor strengthening, core stability, posture, and gentle mobility exercises. Babies are welcome, making it easy to bond with your little one while you move. It’s also a great way to connect with other moms in the community while receiving expert guidance on your postpartum health. This class is limited to 8 registrants and will require an Initial Physiotherapy session to be booked prior to the class. This class series will run for 6 weeks and your full attendance is encouraged (when signing up for this series, you are committing to the full program!) Please come dressed in workout attire and be ready to get a sweat on while learning the appropriate exercises for post partum moms! All sessions will be provided with an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement through your extended health care insurance if applicable. Please note, an Initial Assessment with the physiotherapist is required in order to bill classes through extended health benefits.
