Myia is a family chiropractor and vestibular therapist who is passionate about helping families stay active. She incorporates education into her treatment plan, along with exercises, soft tissue work, and a variety of adjustment techniques in supporting patients to accomplish their health goals.
Myia grew up in a sports-oriented family with three brothers, so she is used to being a competitor. Myia received a scholarship and played Division 1 NCAA soccer at San Jose State University while earning her biology degree. Upon graduation, Myia played two years of professional soccer in Norway and Germany, she then decided to pursue a career that would blend her love for science and sports, and she landed on Chiropractic care. Myia graduated with her Chiropractic Doctorate from Life West chiropractic college in California, she also played rugby for the college and achieved Summa Cum Laude academic honors.
In her spare time, Myia can be found surprisingly playing soccer, practicing yoga, hiking, lifting weights, painting or hanging out with her two cats, Mable and Gemma.
