Dr. Shaveen is an evidence-based Chiropractor. He graduated from D’Youville College receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2020 and obtained his Honours Bachelors of Science from McMaster University in Life Sciences. He is currently completing his thesis to obtain his Master of Science in Anatomy.
Dr. Shaveen is equipped with extensive clinical and hands-on patient experience having worked within medical centres and sports clinics. He aims to make Chiropractic treatment accessible to a range of patients, from those experiencing everyday aches and pains to more extreme cases dealing with co-morbidities and psychosocial barriers to improvement. He is well-versed in developing treatment plans that maximize the therapeutic benefit delivered to patients, offering services including joint manipulation/mobilization, MRT, rehab exercises, athletic taping, and orthotics.
His clinical interests involve the treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions such as headaches, thoracic outlet syndrome, sciatica, carpal tunnel, facet syndrome, muscle spasms, neck and low back pain. Dr. Shaveen recognizes the importance of interprofessional collaboration in healthcare and believes that most pathologies should be viewed through the lens of multiple disciplines in order to understand and treat a patient to the fullest degree.

This is the standard follow-up appointment. Treatment can include soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations/manipulation, active rehabilitation and acupuncture/cupping.

Acupuncture can be used locally to help penetrate deep into the muscle to release any tender areas or knots. It can also be used with electro-stimulation to help strengthen and repair muscles. Cupping can be used for muscle pain and tension. It helps to remove fascial restrictions and increase range of motion. **For insurance purposes, this will be billed under 'chiropractic'
If it has been longer than 3 months from your last treatment with our chiropractors or you have a new complaint, we encourage you to book in for a re-assessment. This allows for a detailed history and physical examination as well as a review of the treatment plan.
This is the standard pre-natal follow-up appointment. Treatment may include soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations/manipulation and active rehabilitation.
Chiropractic care during pregnancy is safe and gentle and great for those experiencing pain in your low back/pelvis, sciatica, cramping in legs, etc. It can also help pelvic & low back alignment to allow for optimal baby positioning and growth
This treatment is for existing patients who are experiencing any jaw or facial pain, clicking, locking, or limited opening or closing of the jaw. New patients - please book an initial appointment first if you haven't seen one of our chiropractors before.
