Dr. Vincent J. Leering BSc, D.C.
Dr. Vincent Leering brings nearly 30 years of chiropractic experience and a practical, individualized approach to patient care. He is known for his friendly, professional manner and commitment to helping patients stay active and moving well.
Born and raised in Ontario, Dr. Leering completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1997.
In addition to providing the same instrument-assisted adjusting techniques previously offered at the clinic, Dr. Leering also offers manual adjustments and has advanced training and extensive experience in Shockwave Therapy and computerized gait analysis for custom orthotics.
Dr. Leering has practiced in Ontario, the Okanagan, and throughout British Columbia before making North Vancouver his home. In April 2023, he was recruited by Dr. Chad Alderson to join Marine Drive Chiropractic, helping expand access to patient-centred, evidence-based chiropractic care on the North Shore.

This booking is for new Patients of the office or those who have not attended in over three (3) years. Please arrive at the office 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete all relevant paper work. If you have any questions regarding your appointment with us, please contact the office.

ICBC Initial visit. This booking is for patients of the office who have just been in a MVA and have not had an initial intake assessment. Please bring your current, valid ICBC claim number to your appointment. There is a nominal copay of $6 with this appointment.

ICBC subsequent visit. This booking is for patients who have already had their initial assessment and have begun treatment under a current ICBC claim. Please note your ICBC coverage needs to be current. If there has been a hiatus in your care or you are booking outside your ICBC claim coverage, please contact the office before booking.

Short Reassessment after 1 year. This is a booking for patients of the office who have been away from the office between 1 and 3 years. This is a regulatory requirement placed on the Doctors to allow time to fully review your complaint. If you have been away from the office longer than 3 years, please call the office to book your appointment as an Extended Consultation.

Chiropractic subsequent visit. This booking is for patients currently under the care of the Doctors within the last year. If your health needs have changed and more time is needed please contact the office before booking. If it has been longer than a year regulatory requirements compel us to do a short re-evaluation appointment that permits time to carefully review your case. Please note 24 hour cancellation policy.

Orthotic Evaluation and Consultation will include taking a detailed clinical history and evaluation including taking a Gait Scan. Should an orthotic be ordered the charge for this appointment shall be credited to the cost of the custom order. One pair orthotics $485, two pair $650. As it is a custom order all fees are due with ordering. Custom orders are not subject to refund/ return. Second Modification subject to $100 fee.

Prior to starting a course of Shockwave Sessions a consultation is required. Taking a careful history, targeted clinical exam, discuss options, answer questions and review & complete a consent for care.

After completing a Shockwave Assessment/ Initial Consultation you can book for a shockwave treatment session. Two areas at maximum can be treated on the same day.

The proper specialized testing and administering of standardized maneuvers to reset the vestibular system with those that have vertigo brought on by BPPV (Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). Extra time is required with each session as the proper administration takes more than a few moments to do and should not be rushed.
